Several reasons lead us to present this hike. The first being due to the fact that it is the most popular with our hikers. After ascending to Everest basecamp, you only need to add 3 days to the Everest basecamp trip to enjoy the Gokyo Valley . You will reach it by crossing the Cho La (5330 meters) which offers you amazing landscapes. You continue towards the village of Gokyo, my favorite in this region. The following night, a headlamp departure to reach the summit of Gokyo at sunrise. Four peaks of more than 8000 meters will appear in front of you, the immense glaciers as well as the five turquoise lakes for which Gokyo is famous. The descent continues in the magnificent and peaceful valley. This loop in the Everest region is definitely a must do for those who have enough time in their schedule.
